As a part of the 3 Day Challenge I have provided access to my macro calculator, this is for you to workout the amount of calories you need not only to get the results you are after but to also fuel your body for your workouts!

Tracking your calories is a part of the CYBFG 8 Week Challenge as it is important to understand what and how much you are putting into your body daily. If your goal is weight loss you will need to be in a Calorie Deficit, this is essentially burning more calories than you consume. This can be done through diet alone but with the addition of exercise it is easier to stay in a Deficit. If your goal is muscle gain you must be in a Surplus which means eating more calories than you are burning. Therefore if you are completely unaware of what you are putting into your body or what calories even are you will struggle to achieve your goals.

Tracking isn’t essential for everyone, if your just wanting to live a healthier happier life you can do this through balance and the 80/20 approach in terms of wholefood and the not so nutritious foods but the ones you need in your life to stay sane!
